Another great day in Wellesley! 😄
We kicked off the morning with our usual routine: a delicious breakfast 🍽️ followed by our English lessons 📚. As always, our students worked hard, took part in lots of speaking activities, and continued building their confidence in English. 💬✨
After lunch 🍔 and some well-earned free time to relax and catch up with friends, it was time for the afternoon activities!
This time, we split into two groups. 👫 One group headed to the shopping centre 🛍️, where they had the chance to explore the shops, grab a snack, and enjoy some free time together.
Meanwhile, the other half unleashed their creativity in an art workshop 🎨🖌️ before jumping into the exciting Monte Carlo Rally 🏎️🏁. During this fast-paced challenge, students became the racing cars themselves, working as a team to complete 15 laps around the circuit as quickly as possible. Along the way, they faced unexpected setbacks, surprise obstacles, and plenty of twists that tested their communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills just as much as their speed! 😂🚦
Later, both groups reunited for dinner 🍽️ and in the evening, we enjoyed one of our favourite camp traditions: the Gossip Box 📦🤫! There were plenty of funny questions, interesting stories, and lots of laughs as everyone joined in.
To end the day, we walked into the centre of Broadstairs 🌊, where we were hoping to watch the fireworks display. Unfortunately, they were cancelled because of the weather forecast. 🌧️🎆
But that didn’t stop us from having a brilliant evening! We enjoyed the lively atmosphere, listened to live music 🎶, explored the funfair 🎡, and spent some quality time together before heading back to school.
After such a busy day, everyone was more than ready for a good night’s sleep. 😴💙
