On Sunday, we finally arrived at our new home: the University of Liverpool! From the very first moment, everyone gave us a wonderful welcome and made us feel right at home. Our rooms and facilities are fantastic; we have spectacular views of the city and plenty of common areas which are perfect for spending time all together.

As soon as we arrived, Alex, our activity leader, showed us around the campus, and then we had our first dinner. After unpacking our bags and settling into our rooms, we enjoyed our first evening activity: some ice-breaker games that were perfect for getting to know people and making new friends. Afterwards, we went to bed since we were absolutely exhausted from the journey.

Monday at Liverpool! 🎒☀️

After waking up a little bit early, we had breakfast, and our classes started with a level test. This will allow the teachers to place us in different classes where we will definitely learn a lot of English!

During the afternoon activity we went out to discover the city centre, which is amazing and full of places to enjoy  and we got to do some shopping too!! 🛍️

In the afternoon, we had to adapt to the local lifestyle: dinner time here is a bit different than in Spain! So, by 17:30, we were already at the canteen enjoying our meal together before one of the main events of the day: the football match between Spain and Portugal! ⚽️🔥

Once we were all dressed up and ready for THE game, we went to a common room with the rest of the students to watch it. Can you believe that some of them actually wanted Portugal to win? 🤭 Anyway… as you already know, that didn’t happen, so we were incredibly happy to watch Spain qualify for the quarter-finals! 🎉🥳

After an evening full of emotions, we went back to our rooms to get some sleep and recharge our batteries for today. This adventure is getting better and better! 📸💙

We’ll keep you updated, a little hint of what we are going to do this afternoon… all you need is…🩷
