As always, the day started with English lessons at school. 📚🇬🇧 After a morning of learning and practising their English, we had lunch together before boarding the van and heading to the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. 🚌🌿
Once we arrived, we enjoyed a walk to Haytor Rocks, one of Dartmoor’s most iconic landmarks. 🪨✨ The students had the opportunity to climb the impressive granite rocks, admire the stunning views and spend some time relaxing in the middle of nature.
During our walk, we also learned lots of interesting facts about the history of Dartmoor, rock formations, Earth science and some of the area’s fascinating local legends. 🌍📖 Later, we reached a small pond where the students took part in a fun stamp hunt. Those who found a hidden stamp earned one on their arm as a souvenir! 🎉
Before heading back, everyone enjoyed some free time by the water. Some students dipped their feet in the pond, while others relaxed in the shade chatting with their friends. 💦🌳 After another wonderful day outdoors, we returned home, and the students spent the evening with their host families. 🩵
