Hello, hello!
We are here to keep you posted about our Ellesmere College adventure!!!
Today was the official first day, a lovely and sunny day to meet each other and get to know our surroundings, you know, a beautiful new place is just in front of us!!!
Activities and lessons have started, we are divided into groups and while some of us attend classes, some are doing activities with our Group Leaders!
Today’s activity was a Scavenger Hunt in the city center of Ellesmere, with tons of challenges to talk and meet locals!!! We met people from the City Hall, Antique Stores, Tourism office, and many others!!! It was great to interact and speak with native speakers!
And also, we started lessons, our lovely teachers welcomed us and gave us some materials to start this journey (books, pens, folders…). We started with icebreaker activities, and also exercises to boost our confidence when speaking English. Today’s group work was about making a movie!!! So we designed characters, plots and much more 🙂
As for tonight, we decided to support Spain, of course!!! FIFA World Cup does not happen as often, right? And thanks to BBC we had the chance to watch a whole football match commented in English at the Ellesmere College’s auditorium.
What a great way to finish our day?
Finally, before going to bed, our Group Leaders gave us an oral presentation about tomorrow’s plan: Our first excursion to Liverpool!!!
