Today we swapped the busy streets of Manchester for the historic charm of York. Our first stop was the magnificent York Minster, where everyone was amazed by the breathtaking architecture. Some of us took a quiet moment to light a candle, while others simply stood in awe of the incredible craftsmanship and history surrounding us.
After taking in the cathedral, we enjoyed lunch before heading out to explore the city. We wandered through the famous Shambles Market, admired one of the streets said to have inspired Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter films, and enjoyed a peaceful walk along the River Ouse. Of course, no trip would be complete without a little shopping, and many of us couldn’t resist picking up a few souvenirs to remember the day.
After a full day of discovering one of England’s most beautiful cities, tonight is all about slowing down. We’ll be ending the evening with a movie night—a perfect chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy some well-earned downtime before tomorrow’s adventures.
