Yesterday afternoon, after lunch, we hopped on the bus and travelled to the beautiful city of Kilkenny for another fantastic excursion. 🚌☘️
Our visit began at the impressive Kilkenny Castle, one of the oldest and most iconic castles in Ireland. 🏰 We were joined by a wonderful tour guide who explained the fascinating history of the castle and took us through its magnificent rooms and grand halls. The students were able to discover what life was like in the castle many years ago and learned lots of interesting facts about its past. 📖✨
After the guided tour, the students enjoyed some free time to stroll through the charming streets of Kilkenny, explore the local shops, and, of course, treat themselves to a delicious ice cream to cool down in the warm weather. 🍦☀️🛍️
At 6:00 p.m., we returned to Carlow, where everyone headed home with their host families to enjoy dinner together and watch the exciting Spain 🇪🇸 vs France 🇫🇷 football match. ⚽🎉
It was another wonderful day full of history, culture, and great memories with friends! 💚☘️
