Yesterday we had a long and full day… It started normal with lessons from 9:00h to 12:45h, after that we had lunch in the cantine and headed to the bus parking lot to take the bus to Dublin city center.

We visited the GPO Museum, renowned for being the headquarters of the 1916 Easter Rising, an event that ignited a series of actions leading to the creation of the Irish Republic. The GPO Museum narrates the pivotal moments that shaped modern Irish history including the 1916 Easter Rising, the Irish War of Independence, the Anglo Irish Treaty, the Irish Civil War and the Troubles. It also covers the peace process in Northern Ireland, culminating in the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in 1998.

After our visit, we had some free time to wander around the city before going back to the meeting point. This time, we didn’t go back to campus for dinner but instead we stayed and had dinner in Mc Donalds.
