What a journey, eh?
People usually says time flies when you are having fun, and I truly agree with them. These days has been incredible, full with memories we will always remember for the rest of our life.
And, as we are getting closer to an ending, we would like to continue sharing with you these great adventures we are living abroad, at Ellesmere College 🙂
We started with the pool… is there any better way to relax before traveling?
We got together, we played in the pool and have some good time with our friends. Some of us also went to play Basketball with our group leaders.
In the afternoon, we also wanted to say goodbye to Ellesmere. So we went with our group leaders to a beautiful lake near Ellesmere, where we explore it and also got together in an activity to express gratitude, to express our wishes for our future and for others, to value the people we have got around us, our friendship and life.
Back to school, we started packing as tomorrow we are leaving early to Manchester Airport, so we had to have everything ready in advance.
And then, at night, we have a Farewell Celebration, where our Group Leaders gather us to celebrate our diplomas, there was music, soft drinks, chips; and activities to help us light up the environment a bit, we wrote each other messages and had a good time, this is the best way to describe it.
Thank you all, thanks for the laughter, the «good mornings», the excursions, the shared memories and the experience of being abroad speaking a language which was not our mother tongue. It has been great to have you all here, and to share this with you.
Being in Ellesmere taught us important lessons, and even though we had some time away from our family, it helped us grow in different levels.
So, wherever we go, we know we are going to achieve incredible things.
