Helloooo dear families!
Sorry for the late update, everyone! Our stay is already coming to an end, but we still have so much to tell you. Here is how we spent our Thursday and Friday…

THURSDAY:
We started the morning with our English class, where we had a super interesting session talking about different festivities and celebrations around the world. We actually learned so much!
After that, we had some lunch, and then we got to do an activity that we were all incredibly excited about: we went to the beach! Yes, you read that right—Crosby Beach. I bet you didn’t expect us to go to the beach in England, did you?!
It is a really cool place, famous for an art installation called Another Place by Antony Gormley. It features 100 life-sized cast iron statues of men scattered all across the beach, staring out at the sea. They represent the human connection with nature, migration, and the endless horizon. Another crazy thing about this beach is how much the tide changes—it goes up and down so fast!
The weather was great, so we got to sunbathe, and we even treated ourselves to an ice cream from a super traditional, very British ice cream van parked right on the sand. We loved it!
Later in the evening, we headed back to the residence for dinner. Afterwards, we had a night activity that completely surprised us because of how much we ended up loving it! It was a creative challenge where they gave us random, everyday materials and we had to model something based on a specific theme. It was hilarious—someone even managed to recreate Cristina Pedroche‘s famous New Year’s Eve look!

FRIDAY: Our Graduation and other activities 🎓✨
Now, let us tell you all about our very last day of classes!
We spent the morning with our Italian classmates and the rest of the Spanish students, having a great time talking and sharing things about our different cultures.
At the end of the morning, they threw us a proper graduation ceremony! We all received our official diplomas, and our teacher said that they were really happy with our work and dedication. Our time here is almost over, but we are making the absolute most of every single second.

In the afternoon, we went to a rooftop where they hosted a farewell party for us to say goodbye to this wonderful course. The atmosphere was amazing! Some of us had a great time dancing and really enjoyed ourselves, while others preferred a more chilled plan, chatting and playing guessing games.
Finally, for the evening activity, we had some lovely downtime to relax by playing board games or painting, among other things. There was definitely something for everyone!
And that’s all for now! We will let you know how our Saturday went very soon. 👋 Stay tuned!
