Today was a very different day as we welcomed our new group to camp while our first group attended their morning English classes. The new students had a welcome talk where they learned about the campus rules and regulations before completing their placement tests to determine their English class levels.
In the afternoon, we took a tour around the campus so everyone could get familiar with the different facilities. Afterwards, we played a few fun icebreaker games to help everyone get to know each other. Once the introductions were over, it was time for a sports afternoon! Everyone got involved in activities such as dodgeball, basketball, football, 123, Hit Someone with the Ball chain, and many more. It was a fantastic way to make new friends and enjoy some healthy competition.
To finish the day, we had our very first Gossip Box, which brought plenty of laughs, followed by an exciting game of Musical Bingo. Teams earned lots of points towards this group’s upcoming auction, making the competition even more exciting.
A brilliant first full day for our new campers—we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
See you tomorrow in our next blog!!!
