Today, the students enjoyed two amazing excursions to discover more of Ireland’s rich history and culture.
One group travelled to Kilkenny, where they visited the magnificent Kilkenny Castle. They explored its fascinating history, admired its beautiful architecture, and learned about the people who once lived there. After the visit, they enjoyed a walk through Kilkenny’s charming medieval streets, buying some lovely souvenirs to remember the day. 🛍️🏰
The other group headed to Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city. There, they discovered the amazing story of the Viking settlement through an exciting virtual reality experience. Wearing virtual reality headsets, the students travelled back in time and experienced what life was like in Viking Waterford. 🤩🥽⚔️ It was a fun and immersive way to learn about the city’s incredible past.
Today has been a truly enriching experience, combining engaging English lessons with the opportunity to explore another beautiful and fascinating city. 💚
