Wednesday was definitely one of the most energetic days of the week!

After another enjoyable morning of English lessons, it was time to swap the classroom for the dance floor!🕺💃

In the afternoon, we took part in the much-anticipated Irish dancing session. Guided by our instructor, the students learned the basic steps of this traditional Irish dance and quickly got into the rhythm. Everyone gave it their best! It was a fantastic opportunity to discover another important part of Irish culture while having fun together, and we even had the chance to see and try on the costumes for this traditional dance. By the end of the session, we were all dancing with much more confidence.🎶 The cultural exchange continued as we showed everyone some traditional Catalan and Spanish dances, and our Japanese classmates taught us some traditional dances from their country too.

After returning home, it was time to get ready for one of everyone’s favourite events of the week… Disco Night!🪩 Everyone put on their best outfits before heading back to the centre for an evening full of music and fun.

The theme this time was neon, and we were all given colourful glow bracelets that lit up the dance floor. ✨ The atmosphere was amazing as everyone showed off their best dance moves and enjoyed the music alongside their new friends.

The fun didn’t stop there! We also took part in some exciting games. One challenge involved popping balloons to discover whether they contained a hidden message inside.🎈🎁 The lucky students who found a message won a prize! We also had great fun trying to guess how many sweets were inside a jar, with everyone making their best predictions.🍬

As if the day couldn’t get any better, a beautiful rainbow appeared across the sky! It was an evening full of music, laughter and unforgettable moments, bringing students from different countries together to celebrate the friendships they have made during their time in Ireland. 💚🌍
