Saturday was one of the highlights of our trip as we travelled by bus to Causey Farm, located around two hours from Carlow. It was a day full of fun, nature, and authentic Irish traditions! 🌿😊

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Catherine, the owner of the farm, and her three beautiful and very friendly dogs. 🐶💚 They gave us a wonderful Irish welcome and made everyone feel at home from the very beginning.

Our first activity was making traditional Irish soda bread in pairs. 🍞👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 The students enjoyed mixing the ingredients, kneading the dough, and learning how this famous Irish bread is made. Once our loaves were ready, we put them in the oven to bake while we continued with the day’s adventures.

Next came one of the most exciting moments of the trip! 🚜 We climbed aboard our very own «farm limousine» (a tractor and trailer!) and headed to the famous mud pools. 🤎🛞 Some of the students were brave enough to jump straight into the mud, laughing all the way! It was a unique, messy, and unforgettable experience that we’re sure they’ll remember for a long time. 😄😂

After enjoying our picnic lunch together, we explored the rest of the farm and met all its wonderful animals. 🦙🐴🐰🐑🐷 The students loved seeing the alpacas, horses, rabbits, sheep, pigs, and many other friendly animals up close.

At 6:00 p.m., we returned home, where the students spent the rest of the evening—and Sunday—with their host families, enjoying more time together and experiencing everyday Irish family life. 🏡💚

It was an incredible day filled with laughter, adventure, and memories that will stay with us forever! ☘️✨

🚀 Keep following our adventures—we’ll be back soon with more unforgettable moments from Ireland! ☘️😊
