Hello friends and families,
Welcome back to day 2 here at Ampleforth College.
Today was another gloriously cool day in the UK and we made the most of the weather by spending much of the day outside.
This morning, the Advanced group had English class while the Upper Intermediate group took part in Sports Day. There was plenty of competition, and we’ll keep you updated on who ends up winning once all the events are finished. In the afternoon, the groups swapped over, so everyone had a chance to do both.
Lunch today was a very British classic, fish and chips.
This evening’s activity was Capture the Flag, which was a great way to get everyone running around before tomorrow’s big excursion to York. It’s always one of the highlights of the camp and we’re all really looking forward to it. We’ll be taking lots of photos throughout the day, so keep an eye on the page for updates.

Hola familias y amigos,
Bienvenidos de nuevo al segundo día aquí en Ampleforth College.
Hoy hemos vuelto a tener un día fresquito, algo que en Reino Unido siempre se agradece, así que hemos aprovechado para pasar buena parte del día al aire libre.
Por la mañana, el grupo Advanced ha tenido clase de inglés mientras que el Upper Intermediate ha participado en el Sports Day. Ha habido mucha competición y ya os iremos contando quién se lleva la victoria cuando terminen todas las pruebas. Por la tarde han cambiado los grupos, así que todos han podido hacer las dos actividades.
La comida de hoy ha sido todo un clásico británico: fish and chips.
La actividad de esta noche ha sido Capture the Flag, una forma genial de que todos corrieran y se lo pasaran bien antes de la gran excursión de mañana a York. Es uno de los días favoritos del campamento y tenemos muchas ganas. Durante el día haremos un montón de fotos, así que estad atentos a la página porque iremos subiendo novedades.
