Today started with another morning of classes, where everyone continued improving their English through interactive lessons and activities.
In the afternoon, we visited the Imperial War Museum North, one of Manchester’s most iconic museums. Designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, the museum tells the story of how war has shaped lives from the First World War to the present day. Through powerful exhibitions, personal stories, authentic military vehicles, uniforms, and immersive audiovisual displays, everyone had the chance to reflect on the human impact of conflict and the importance of peace. It was a thought-provoking visit that gave us a deeper understanding of history beyond the classroom.
To end the day, it was time for one of the most exciting evening events: Casino Night! Everyone dressed up for the occasion and used their camp money to play classic casino games, hoping to increase their fortune and earn even more points for their teams. There was plenty of strategy, laughter, and friendly competition, making it a fantastic way to finish another memorable day together.
See you tomorrow in the next blog!!!
