Today was our last full day in Bundoran, and it was definitely one to remember.
We started the morning with an Irish dancing workshop 馃拑鈽橈笍, where the students learned a variety of dances to traditional Irish music, from the basics to more complex routines. They also tried some line dancing before finishing the workshop with a challenge: creating their own routines in groups with students from other countries!
And the results were amazing! From combining Irish dancing with sardanes and La Polca d’Ours, to incorporating K-pop 馃幍, every group came up with something completely different. One group even won a special prize: a pair of Irish-themed socks for every member!
In the afternoon, we had our very last English lesson It was time to say goodbye to our teachers and classmates, making the end of our classes feel very real鈥攅specially knowing that we’re leaving tomorrow.
For our final evening together, we headed down to the beach 馃寠馃寘 for some beach games, including volleyball, paddle games, and more. We enjoyed the sunset over the sea, took lots of pictures, and made the most of our last night together.
Before going to bed, we had one last surprise: we got together to wish Maria a very happy birthday 馃巶馃帀, giving her a card and a special present. Then, we made our own personalised message envelopes 馃拰, ready to fill with all the sweet messages and dedications from our group and the other international students.
And because none of us were quite ready to say goodbye yet, we were allowed to stay up a little later to sign flags, exchange messages, take pictures, and enjoy those last moments together.
Tomorrow we leave… and honestly, we don’t want to go!
