Our last friday at St. Leo’s College was filled with mixed emotions. We started the day with excitement, but also with a touch of sadness, knowing it was our last day at the school that has been our home over the past few weeks.馃摎
The morning was dedicated to our final English lessons, giving us one last opportunity to put into practice everything we have learned. It was wonderful to end our classes surrounded by classmates and teachers who have made this experience so special.
Saying goodbye was undoubtedly the hardest part of the day. We had to say farewell to our amazing Japanese friends, with whom we have shared so many unforgettable moments, as well as to the teachers who have guided and supported us throughout our stay. Their kindness, encouragement and dedication have made this journey even more meaningful, and we will always be grateful for everything they have taught us.
One of the most memorable moments of the day came in the afternoon, when we received our certificates!馃帗 Everyone proudly received one, celebrating all the hard work, progress and memories made during our time in Ireland. To make the celebration even sweeter, we enjoyed some delicious pizza together!
As if the day wasn’t already special enough, we also celebrated Bruno’s birthday! 馃巶 We gathered together to sing 芦Happy Birthday禄, enjoyed a delicious birthday cake and shared another lovely moment as a group. It was the perfect way to end such an emotional and unforgettable day.
This experience may have come to an end, but everything we have learned and shared over the past few weeks will stay with us long after we return home. We leave with countless memories, new friendships and a deeper appreciation for everything Ireland has given us. 鈽橈笍馃挌
