Hello dear families!
Yesterday we had a day full of emotions! We started our classes at 9:00 AM as usual, where we practiced some reading and speaking about sports. But don’t go thinking it was just about football or basketball… no, we learned all about some of the world’s strangest sports!
After having lunch, we enjoyed some free time just before heading out to the city centre to visit the Museum of Liverpool. You might think it is just a small museum where you only see a tiny part of the city’s history, but nothing could be further from reality: it is huge! It’s an amazing three-story building packed with history and interactive elements that let you learn and have fun at the same time.
We came back to have dinner and then got ready for THE match. We won’t lie—we were pretty nervous! We absolutely loved watching the football match; it was thrilling and absolutely nail-biting. After a tense 97 minutes, we were finally able to celebrate! This means that on Sunday, right after we return home, we will all be watching Spain play in the World Cup Finals!
We are heading off to classes now. You’ll have more news from us tomorrow!
A big hug from Liverpool! ❤️
